• Entwicklung, Weiterentwicklung und Pflege von bestehenden Javascript Web-Applikationen
• Kollaborative Konzeption und Planung neuer Web-Applikationen und Features
• Peer-Review
• Vorstellung und Dokumentation deiner Arbeit im Team
• Unterstützung und Hilfestellung von Kolleginnen und Kollegen
• Nachfragen und um Hilfestellung bitten, wenn es erforderlich ist
• Über Aufgaben und Problemstellungen gründlich nachdenken und Lösungen entwickeln
• Funktionen und Fragestellungen entwickeln, die möglicherweise zukünftig interessant oder relevant werden könnten

Dein Profil

• Du hast ein robustes Verständnis von HTML, CSS und Javascript
• Du bist mit Typescript vertraut
• Du bist versiert im Umgang mit Vue, Svelte oder einem ähnlichen Javascript-Framework
• Du bist das Arbeiten mit npm und der Kommandozeile gewohnt
• Du bist bestens vertraut mit Git

Bonuspunkte für…

• Du kennst dich mit decoupledten Web-Applikationen aus
• Du bringst Know-How über APIs oder "serverless" Applikationen mit
• Du hast Erfahrung mit der Analyse von Anforderungen und kannst diese in technische Konzepte übersetzen
• Du besitzt Kenntnisse oder hast praktische Erfahrungen bzgl. Barrierefreiheit
• Du hast Interesse an hybriden cross-platform Applikationen

Your tasks

• You will help maintain and enhance existing Javascript web applications
• You will collaboratively develop concepts and plan implementation for new applications or features, both in Javascript and otherwise
• You will review your teammates work and will share your work for review
• You will document your results and present them to the team
• You will help out your teammates when they ask and ask them for help when you need it
• You will take time to think about a problem or requirement to find the best solution
• You will identify needs or requirements that have not yet been considered and work towards solutions for them

Your profile

• You are familiar with HTML, CSS and Javascript
• You are comfortable with Typescript
• You are adept at Vue, Svelte or a similar Javascript framework
• You can use npm and manage applications from the command line
• You are competent with Git for version control

Bonus points

• You are familiar with decoupled application stacks
• You are acquainted with API-driven or "serverless" architecture
• You have experience with analyzing business requirements and coming up with possible solutions
• You have some experience with Accessibility requirements
• You are interested in hybrid and cross-platform application development

Who we are

We strive to be the driving force of digitalization in broadcasting as both internal digital service provider of a large radio and broadcasting company as well as Platform-as-a-Service provider for external clients. As part of that we manage both large-scale end-user facing applications for various radio stations as well as internal business applications that are part of the digital broadcasting process. This includes decoupled editorial websites built with Drupal, Nuxt and SvelteKit, mobile applications built with NativeScript, and various tools and microservices built with a plethora of other frameworks and languages. Due to the ever-changing nature of both the web and the broadcasting industry our challenges are always changing, and that’s just how we like it.
